Saturday, April 2, 2016 - From Magnum to share at the BBQ - 20+ guests and nearly as many wines to try.

Opened at 4:30 to breathe, had one glass at 6:30 another after 10:00. Ripe cherries and strawberry nose mingled with baking spices. Tannins are very smooth at this point, but still has pleasingly fresh red and black fruits. Silky mouthfeel, love the texture of aged quality cabernet. Some acidity remaining, so I think this will last a few more years, but probably won't get much better.
