2010 Château d'Aiguilhe

Saturday, April 9, 2016 - Color: Very dark and impenetrable. Nose: Soy sauce, dark licorice, fried bacon, blackberries. Mouth: Not as good as I remember. It lacks a bit complex aromas. Finish a bit bitter. To much cedar box. Finish a bit watery. Still a very good wine. Nice sourness in the midpalate. Ridiculous 15% alc. but very well hidden. Compared to my last tasting note this wine is going downhill. Well, "downhill" is not meant to be downhill downhill. It just has lost some of its deliciousness and flesh. To drink now or in the next 3 years.
