Tuesday, May 10, 2016 - Very intense fruit but not overripe. There is a tartness to the wine that is attractive. Lots of red fruit and plums on the palate, along with the earthiness you expect from the Hunter. Good acidity and a granular tannin backbone. This should continue to improve for a few years.
