Friday, June 24, 2016 - Most Excellent Friday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Domaine Leflaive and Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine. 2015s have barely started ML, but malic acid is approximately 1/3 normal levels, making these far more accessible than in most vintages. Floral with lots of ripe black cherry, some red cherry hints. Seems like it might be slightly riper and jammier than I'd expect from Vogue, but should also be very engaging young. VG potential for its level.
