Fabulous, tasted at nomad la, decanted for one hour. Initially tight, fruity with raspberries, ripe cherries and a hit of sous bois. After the decant the wine blossomed to a perfect harmony of fruit and earth. Absolutely singing... until shards of glass flew into the decanter. God damn..

Yearly Vogüé tasting with Jean – Luc Pépin from Comte de Vogüé and great Swedish importer “Tryffelsvinet”. The Chambolle Musigny village 2015 shows a very open and inviting nose. Red cherries, raspberries, flowers and minerals. Very open and sexy already straight out of the starting blocks. Palate is also very open and inviting. No signs of too much fruit, but a lovely mixture of sweet and ripe red berries, raspberries, strawberries and darker cherries, with a very good acidity present and fine minerals on the long finish. A very, very good village indeed, overachieving as always. Already drinking great at this young age, but will of course develop and give pleasure for many years to come. (92 – 94+)

Most Excellent Friday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Domaine Leflaive and Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine. 2015s have barely started ML, but malic acid is approximately 1/3 normal levels, making these far more accessible than in most vintages. Floral with lots of ripe black cherry, some red cherry hints. Seems like it might be slightly riper and jammier than I'd expect from Vogue, but should also be very engaging young. VG potential for its level.

Pompette Salon 酌樂 Series VI (Pompette Salon, Taichung): Broad and big with nice structure. Yet this taste slightly better than the 2015 Roumier CM (very tight) at this point.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. Superbly elegant nose and palate. Floral, red cherry spice in wonderful harmony. Great balance, good weight and length.

Some Wines from the 2018 La Paulée Grand Tasting of 2015 Burgundy (The Fairmont, San Francisco): Deep color. Pure, ripe red and black fruit with some soil. I didn't find it too jammy at all. The depth and concentration are ridiculous for a village wine. I'm sure that 90% of vintners would be thrilled to have their Grand Crus turn out this well. A great start to a superb range.
