Saturday, July 9, 2016 - Not sure if America got a different blend than Europe, but this bottle has the blend listed as 50% Grenache, 40% Carignan and 10% Syrah. The Vinous review and other reviews have the Carignan as dominant varietal.

Scents of dark cherry, dark berry, red plum and floral pastilles meet aromas of vanilla, herbs, mineral and smoke and spice with hints of red apple skin and licorice.
On the palate this is firm and tart. Acidity is Moderate-plus. Tannins are firm and grippy boarding on astringent showing a hard press of the fruit. Flavors on the palate present again with red apple skins, tart cherry and dark and red berries. Violets, herbs, bramble and mineral round out the palate

Overall a good wine, much more aromatically pleasant than on the palate where it just seems slightly out of balance.
