Sunday, January 6, 2008 - Still a baby. Needed about 2 hours in the decanter to open up . When it did, it revealed a nose of plum and blackberry, with some heat. On the palate, dark cherry, a touch of Asian spice, clove, and cola. Velvety, but also a bit hot and oaky. Pushes the edge of extraction, but does not go over the line. Very good, but would be better with less heat.
