Wednesday, August 3, 2016 - More closed than the last bottle I enjoyed. Still a big-scaled wine with ample dark fruits (leaning to the blacker side), but not overripe at all. And good tannin and acidity ensure this a long life. The structural elements dominate right now, giving this wine a "lean" impression; however, I don't think this wine is lean at all. I think the fruit is there - just subsumed by the wine's substantial tannin and acid at the moment.
