Saturday, August 6, 2016 - 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 4% Malbec, 2% Petite Verdot. Decanted for sediment 2-1/2 hrs. Deep red/purple to the edge. Cherry liqueur, cassis, raspberry. Very rich, cherry, currants. Good acid, solid tannin in background. Some cedar, plum and Rutherford dust. Long finish. This has a long life ahead and will benefit from a long decant. Much better bottle than last year.
