Deep red/purple color. Incredible nose: black fruits, cherry, forest floor/pine, savory/beef, caramel, vanilla, cedar. Rich and jammy palate, viscous and creamy mouthfeel. Palate shows blueberry, cherry, plum, sweet tobacco, licorice and graphite notes. Finish is long and nuanced,

This is a big, hedonistic wine that is aging beautifully. From a great Napa Vintage, fruit from hills close to Pritchard Hill. This wine is in a really good spot right now, rich fruit forward characteristics that are coming together nicely with age. Best guess is it should hold it this level for another 5-7 years, certainly lasting 20+ if you want to cellar...This bottle took some time to open up, it was at its best after being open for about 3 hours. Will try to give next bottles a healthy decant, worthy of such a spectacular wine. Really special wine....score may go higher in time...
