Friday, August 26, 2016 - Cork was in excellent condition. On opening it displayed a raisiny bouquet of dark fruits and some tobacco. Somewhat disjointed, and reminded me of a wine that was left open for too long . on tasting the deep fruit came through with a very tart finish. this wine is either way too young, or it never had the right stuff to begin with. I would not buy any more of this wine as it seems to be all over the place and doesn't represent the region very well. 2000 may be one of those years that is way overated.
