Monday, January 21, 2008 - Pale yellow-green color. The nose has really developed on this wine, showing lemon zest, minerals and lanolin. The palate has a waxy texture that is quite compelling, and shows more lemon, minerals and even a bit of sherry-like almond and warmth on the very long finish. This was a pleasant surprise compared to the bottle I had a couple years ago. I'm guessing this may continue to improve over the next few years, but is in a nice drinking window now.
