Sunday, November 6, 2016 - Did a blind tasting of three 2014 Pinot Noirs; Du Mol's Finn, Kosta Browne's, Gaps Crown and Rochioli's, Little Hill. The majority of people liked the Du Mol Finn best. A drinker of Du Mol for over ten years, I found this wine to be maybe their best pinot ever. Deep garnet color; Wonderful pinot nose and Delicious red fruit flavor. Medium bodied with long silky tannins. Drinks quite well even without any decanting. Only opened up and got better as the evening went on. Glad I have a few bottles left to lay down for several years.
