Monday, December 5, 2016 - PnP and first taste of the SS chards. Definitely rich, but everything hangs together in balance with a slug of acidity. A little hot on the finish, but I'll give that a pass because its such a recent bottling. Not over the top and I wouldn't call it buttery per se. While it tends towards the heavy end of the scale, it doesn't come close to approaching the weight of a Kongsgaard (or a Rombauer for that). More of a middleweight chard.
