Saturday, December 31, 2016 - Ruby color, bricking and a teaspoon of fine sediment. One hour decant, without appreciable effect. This wine has distinct and dominant elements of tart and tangy pomegranate and cranberry with some more classic grenache underneath. Smooth otherwise. A very interesting wine that is not for everyone. Although you can taste the 15% alcohol, it doesn't hit you hard and is otherwise quite deceptive. Truly an interesting wine that gets an extra point for such unique elements, but not likely one in which I'd reinvest.
