Saturday, January 7, 2017 - Needs an hour in the decanter to open up, but then it puts on a great show with classic nebbiolo aromatics such as blonde tar, raspberry coulis, dried roses, leather and liquorice. Slightly drying at first, and the fruit seems to need a bit more stuffing, but in due time it all resolves into a lovely drinking experience. No lack of freshness, with a hint of spiciness and a salty mineral finish. Ready to go, with many years ahead.
