Tuesday, January 17, 2017 - Nose of pear (like canned pears in their juice), honey, and a touch of ginger. Ever so slightly floral too. Palate also has sweet pear plus tropical fruit, honey, and a little more ginger / white pepper feel than the nose lets on, particularly as it warms in the glass. There's apricot hiding underneath it all that peeks out in the finish. Not cloying at all because of half decent acidity. This is settling down into a great spot.
