Thursday, January 26, 2017 - Tasting during Napa visit. Very interesting wine. Nose was of an older Syrah (dark plum, smoke meat) but taste was mountain Merlot or cab. Lots of tannin with a nice balance of dark fruit. Medium long finish. Very enjoyable.
