Monday, March 20, 2017 - It is essential to let this wine breathe for at least one hour and preferably to decant. This is because the initial nose is a little unpleasant with no fruit. However, be patient and let it breathe and the lovely grenache and mourvedre style fruits show through and it becomes a very attractive wine. The tannins become balanced and the overall wine becomes well balanced. I enjoyed with a Rhone enthusiast who confirmed his approval once the wine had breathed sufficiently.
