Saturday, February 11, 2017 - Winebar [Various Reds & a Sancere] for 2/10/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Complex; Vanilla atop a melange that's tough to parse: pyrazines, earth, cherries, the earth moving forward with air/warmth? More to give, although there was also a lack of stamina?!?

P: Med, poss LM, body; Almost rndish entry with almost swtish frt on the front. VERY nicely balanced, seamless, & with a LONG (albeit very slightly faint) finish. An ELEGANT style drinking VERY nicely right now -- & should hold for 4 or 5 more, I'd guess. 93 pts Suckling, 91 ea WE & WE, 90 Jeff Leve, 87 Jean-Marc Quarin, and 17/20 La Revue du Vin de France
