Saturday, April 8, 2017 - Medium ruby with a slight hint of brick on the rim. Really lovely and complex nose of red fruit, cedar and spices. On the palate medium+ body with silky mouthfeel. The tannins are really smooth and integrated. I was expecting a bigger wine, but really can't complain. It seems like it is on a very nice spot at the moment. There isn't any hurry to drink up and the fruit is still there and tertiary flavors are still very much at the background. We finished this with grilled venison fillet and it was just off this world!
