Wednesday, April 19, 2017 - Every so often Zimmerman gets it right. This is one of those times. I totally agree with the Cote de Beaune meets S Rhone meets Bojo he alludes to. Inky purple that belies a delicacy and lightness on the palate. Just cherry fruit, licorice, lots of mineral, no wood detected. This is not vin de meditacion but simply something to enjoy for the pure and lovely experience. There is also a high geek factor given the locale (Asturias). Will probably continue to delight for 3-4 years but there is a crisp and crunchy Bojo freshness that could dampen with time in the bottle.
