Thursday, April 20, 2017 - By the glass at Terra. A decent, food-friendly lunch wine, very serviceable with a whole range of seafood dishes. It had a nicely fresh nose, with liberal sprinkles of of lemon zest, bright grapefruit aromas and a whiff of sea spray, and a touch of slatey minerality at the edges. The palate was a bit heavier than the nose suggested, with a waxy texture to its fleshy gooseberry and white peach flavours, again lined with more of that charming lemon zest and minerality, with just a trail of spice lingering away into a full finish. A bit plump and ungainly without food, but this seemed to pull together and show better when the dishes came out. All in all pretty decent.
