Friday, April 28, 2017 - Really excellent. The surprise of the night since this was a hot vintage, but at this youthful stage it is remarkably fresh and structured with good mineral/soil inflection. A touch of VA but less than some of his other wines. Maybe the best '09 Barolo I've had.
