Tuesday, May 2, 2017 - From memory - dark garnet color. The nose and the palate were packed with raspberry and plum that were very ripe, teetering on overripe. This medium-bodied wine had a plush mouthfeel and moderate acidity as well as a solid, dark fruited finish. Overall, this wine, with no food, was a bit too ripe for my palate, but it was large enough to pair well with a spicy sausage, black bean, and rice dish.
