Sunday, May 14, 2017 - Drank this with roast lamb. It was the first bottle of this vintage and I agree with other reviewers that it is probably a bit soon to be drinking this wine. It's still pretty sharp, though the complexities are beginning to be discernible. I'll try another bottle later in the year. It feels like it has quite a long way to go. At present, the wine is purplish coloured, with medium legs. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. Aromas of cranberry, blueberry, blackberry, fig, forest floor, stoniness, black olive and eucalyptus are present. The body is medium/full. Texture is fleshy texture, with a longish finish and medium acidity.
