Monday, May 9, 2016 - From Art's cellar. Very center of the bowl was still crimson, but then amber then orange on the rim. Wine was clear. On the nose, there were muted red fruits and nuts, just a hint of dried flowers. All the tannins were resolved and wine was silky smooth. In the mouth, the taste was that which was promised by the nose. As usual for me, wine had been decanted about 60 minutes before. Balance was good as was the medium-long finish with no astringency or bitterness.
