Wednesday, June 21, 2017 - Final bottle from a half case, and one of the best. Fresh and lively, tannic profile, typical for 2005. Slightly dusty and earthy style, cassis fruit and some floral lift, well-balanced and energetic, but not really screaming Northern Rhône. Built for solidity rather than typicity, more about structure than about expression. Slightly old-fashioned, sturdy stuff. A food wine. Now-2020.
