Wednesday, August 2, 2017 - Nearly a perfect 10 on the nose. Powerful, rich fruit with elements of fresh oak and lots of honey. Very slightly oxidized, for a 9 year old wine - adding an overtone of ripe apricot. Stone fruit and grapefruit in a medium weight body. Still bracingly tart, overshadowing any minerality. If i had another, i would wait 3-5 years, and it would be fascinating...
