Tuesday, August 15, 2017 - Popped and slow decanted with the nose showing black olives, bbq, bacon, black fruits, camp fire, and black pepper. They were layers of complexity on the nose as the rich palate kept improving with more time. The fruit remained in the background as the tertiary aromas dominated. The acidity was quite prevalent showing the wine can age longer. It's in the zone right now, but will keep for another 5 years or so. Drink or hold.
