Saturday, September 16, 2017 - Decanted for around 30 mins. Light ruby color, very translucent. Stunning aromatics of red cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, watermelon rind, orange peel and more. New aromas coaxed out of the glass with every swirl. Mostly light and delicate red berry fruit flavors on the palate along with some citrus and floral flavors. Medium to medium+ acid, medium tannins and body. Silky smooth mouthfeel and finishes long. Overall, probably one of the best pinots I have had from California to-date. Just impeccable balance and loaded with aromas and flavors while remaining delicate on the palate.
