Popped and poured. Drank over 2 hours. Cherry and sandalwood on the nose. Very well balanced with tannins well resolved. Tart cherry predominant on the palate. This is drinking really well right now. It should continue to hold and potentially improve over the next 10 years. Very good.

Continues to drink beautifully! Similar tasting notes to previous bottle with perhaps a bit less fruit and more acidity. Paired beautifully with Eastern European chicken and wild mushrooms.

Let's face it, this is a perfect wine. I not big on scoring, but it still has its place. This should be 100, the only other reason I'm holding off is that I saved some for night 2, and might be tempted to gush further. I'll be honest, I've never tasted a DRC or Dujac but I know enough about this grape to know that means something. I have tasted some great and pedigreed pinots or the years, and happily report this is the best I've ever had. <mike drop>

26 months later: Still light in color, and now showing some lovely and savory black tea character. Super balance. Extremely enjoyable over three nights, perhaps peaking on the second.

Delish red cherry, raspberries, rhubarb and floral notes on the expressive nose and savory palate with refreshing acidity on the long finish. Drinking beautifully!

Not a fruit bomb which I appreciate but also perhaps not my desired style. Light in color. Bit of raspberry. Overall earthy and dry. Better with food. We PnP'd which was a mistake. Wine was better after a few hours. We had this along with a 2005 Geantet Pansiot Gevrey Chambertin En Champs and I found this burgundy much more satisfying and complex. Others though really enjoyed the Littorai. Tough call. Well made wine - matter of style/taste imo.

13% abv. Light burgundy-red, very aromatic. Red cherry, rose petals, cinnamon and other Pinot spices. Very savory and grippy, medium depth, good length. This tastes like a Pinot structured for the long haul, but enjoyable and very interesting now.

Decanted for around 30 mins. Light ruby color, very translucent. Stunning aromatics of red cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, watermelon rind, orange peel and more. New aromas coaxed out of the glass with every swirl. Mostly light and delicate red berry fruit flavors on the palate along with some citrus and floral flavors. Medium to medium+ acid, medium tannins and body. Silky smooth mouthfeel and finishes long. Overall, probably one of the best pinots I have had from California to-date. Just impeccable balance and loaded with aromas and flavors while remaining delicate on the palate.

What a difference three days make. On opening: light in color, nearly translucent at the edges; savory and tea-like, with a nice hint of earth and minerality. Very nice, but a bit too restrained. (We seek restraint; we don't at all like Pinot-as-Syrah.) Day two: it seemed a bit deeper and more complex, with more earthy notes. Third: gaining in interest and complexity, and with a surprising touch of savory mint. The last sips were the best. A lovely wine.

A proper Pinot. 13% alcohol and a light red color. Not a "Cabernet drinker's Pinot" and all the better for it. Lots of red berry flavours and driking beautifully as I suspect will continue to be the case for at least five more years. Ted Lemme n's wines tend to age exceptionally well.

13% abv. Light burgundy red, moderate aromatics. On the palate, raspberries, spice and rose petals. A feminine, energetic wine with good length. Should continue to age well for several more years.

Drinking beautifully; moderate alcohol (particularly for California). Red fruits, smooth with plenty of acidity- probably at least another 4-5 years to go.

Gorgeous nose, leaning toward the herbaceous, with tart cherry, sage, rose petal, and hints of cocoa, forest floor and strawberry. Very delicate palate, with soft, rounded fruit and rhubarb-like tartness. Very slight tannin lurks in the finish, but this is wonderfully balanced at this point in its evolution.

This will only please ipob nerds. So light and approachable. Very bright red fRuit. Rhubarb. Strawberry. Crazy low alcohol for cali. Clean and precise. Probably one of the lightest ca pinot I've ever had. Cold gray vintage from a cold gray place. very good.

More appealing this time around. I did give the bottle some added air.

Wow. 1.5 hours of air and a pleasant, suprising treat.
Medium body with layers of cherry, dried leaf (sage/rosemary?) with a background of fine tannin and effortless balance.
No hint of tiredness but hard to believe more patience was needed for this bottle.
