Sunday, March 23, 2008 - Decanted straight from the cellar - cool in temperature. This was fresh and delicious, not a tonne of complexity on nose or palate, but solid blackberry and red cherry notes, distinctively chocolately on the nose and with a fresh soft tannin finish which also had hints of dark chocolate. This was a mere 13.5% ABV, a refreshing change from most of the 15.5%+ aussie shiraz's in my cellar.
