  • Best and last of 3. Light cherry color with hints of strawberry and cedar. Light finish. Past peak, but an enjoyable midweek wine.

  • Decanted straight from the cellar - cool in temperature. This was fresh and delicious, not a tonne of complexity on nose or palate, but solid blackberry and red cherry notes, distinctively chocolately on the nose and with a fresh soft tannin finish which also had hints of dark chocolate. This was a mere 13.5% ABV, a refreshing change from most of the 15.5%+ aussie shiraz's in my cellar.

  • Dark ruby with brown hues. Medium complexity of rich, dark cherry fruit, tobacco, cedar, pepper & spice. A slight whiff of alcohol. Pepper and cherry hit the palate first, the pepper giving way to the fruit. Nice balance with bright finish but I was expecting a more complex taste based on the nose. The wine went thin against a barbeque sauce on rack of lamb.
