Wednesday, October 11, 2017 - Quite a fragrant nose. Lots of sweet, very vanilla oak is predominant. Entry is savory fruit, quite robust and extracted. Finishes long and tobacco, liquorice, and black pepper, and spice. Tannins mid-grained and drying. Better score if not for the overly drying tannins which surely are the back side of the pleasant vanilla wood nose. Many years left. Extend to 2028.
