The red plums really came through on the taste and there was great depth of fruit. Moderate acid. Long finish. Very young wine but a delicious drink right now. The 2006 is 14.5% alcohol and that is more than I prefer, but this wine was very balanced and there was almost no alcohol burn on the finish. Picked up two more bottles at $14 each. Excellent value. Will try one in October and hold the other.
