Monday, October 23, 2017 - With all the fuss around the G3, I thought I'd open something at the other end of the spectrum! Cork, good cork too, tight and clean. Not a huge fan of Penfolds but I didn't mind this - lots of black fruits (plums, black currant, black berries) but there is a framework of tannin that is well bedded and provides structure. Actually enjoyed it as it wasn't overtly fruit driven - best on night 3 too.
