Saturday, November 18, 2017 - Short decant. Lots of fine sediment in the last few mL. Alcoholic and heavily extracted, but nicely perfumed with black cherry, black raspberry, anise, and tar/asphalt aromas. Sweet-seeming and fruity (black cherry) on the palate with hardly any remaining tannin and only medium(-) acid. Flabby. A "yummy" wine but does not present any real complexity or nuance at this stage, 6 years after harvest. "Very good," 88/100.
