90 Points

Tuesday, October 24, 2017 - Texas Wine School - Italian Wines Scholar. Clear, bright, medium (+) yellow with some gold hues. The nose is clean, with ripe yellow fruit, grapefruit zest, nectarine, pineapple, salted almonds and wet stone. The palate is dry but with plenty of ripe fruit. The acidity is medium to medium (+); the alcohol is medium (+) (13.5%). It is medium (+) bodied, with medium (+) to pronounced flavors and a long, crisp, slightly bitter and salty finish. It is still drinking well and has not aged appreciably in the last six months. Nevertheless, it is not likely to improve with further aging. Frankly, I like it more every time I try it.
