Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 2017 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/9/2017-11/14/2017 (Villa D’este, Lake Como and Milan): Medium expressive nose displaying ripe red and black fruit, strawberry, black cherry, strawberry jam, very floral, sap and strong earthy mineral. Good concentration, silky and polished, generous sweet red fruit, medium acidity, strong mineral presence and a medium to long sweet red fruit and mineral driven finish. Initially very polished impression but after the others, seems a bit straightforward. Nevertheless, it is a very good wine that is still open for business.
