It starts out with a lot of that Cordier-ish funk, showing some barnyard and leather right off the bat, but some of that clears with time in the decanter to reveal fresh dark berried fruit, cedar wood, and tobacco notes on a medium weight frame. Most of the tannin here has integrated, and this is drinking really nicely.
