Tuesday, April 8, 2008 - Decanted for 3 hours. Full yellow to light golden color. Took some work, but a complex nose of spiced apple, pear, and honey appeared. Lightweight by dessert wine standards, this gained in weight and texture over time. Pure fruit, elegant, and to my surprise, the acidity was not that prominent. Excellent, elegant, and subtle, but the structure does not suggest that it will be one for extended aging (i.e., decades).
