Friday, December 15, 2017 - 2015 Puligny and Chassagne from Colin-Morey (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Complex aromas with more sulfur once again showing up. Rich and mouth filling, more obvious wood but also lactic creaminess that is reminiscent of Grand Crus. Dry, lots of soil on the finish along with late bitter citrus. Right now, this is eclipsed by the Grand Montagne, but it could be special if the citrus holds up and the wood eventually takes a back seat. That's a big if given the volume of oak.
