Saturday, January 13, 2018 - Bright ruby. Medium minus alcohol. Roasted meat, leather, earth, mixed w light white pepper and dark burnt red fruit on nose. Well balanced as it uses all 13 cdp grapes. Smooth, silky, earthy, dark black cherries, slightly stewed. Still some leather and earth. Can taste burnt vanilla on secondary. Medium plus acidity with medium plus tannin and astringency. 91-92.
