Wednesday, February 7, 2018 - Ghost of Clos Vougeot: Terrific nose, highly expressive and earthy with dried florals, toasty coffee notes, sweet red cherry, smoky meats. Some wild animal in here. Palate is sweet red cherry, not too thin but not that deep either. The palate doesn’t match the great promise of the bouquet. Bottles directly from the domaine.
