Friday, March 16, 2018 - Cork perfect, heavy sediment. Colour very youthful for a -99. Heavy robes. Nose w tobacco, oak, dark fruits (blackberry), toast, sous-bois. Rounded, but still prominent tannins, lively acidity, medium+ body w sour cherries. Long aftertaste, but too one-dimensional for higher marks. Had expected a bit more. Will last longer, but why wait??
