Good quantity of fruit, also some acid and a hint of tannin in there. Surprisingly, a little more tannic than an '05 Fourrier GC VV that I had last week. Also a little 'earthier' and 'muskier'. Not quite as juicy and hedonistic. Probably a more 'serious' wine.
I really enjoyed it, another tasty '05. But those looking for a light and easy village Chambolle should look elsewhere. I'd have pegged this as a 'better' Gevrey or Vosne.
