Monday, April 23, 2018 - Coravin glass. Healthy garnet color with only a touch of browning at the rim. Initially very tight, the wine opens up with more air. Still a bit shy though with dry red fruit, elevated acidity, fine tannins, good length. A wine that demands attention and seems still on the upswing. Less showy than the more fruity 07 Tollot Beaut Corton Bressandes and much fresher (and better) than Bouchards 07 Le Corton. 91+

PS: Drank rest of ‘coravined’ bottle the next day. Showing now excellent balance and finesse. Fine wood spices pairing nicely with the precisely drawn fruit. Good length too. Solid 93
