Monday, May 7, 2018 - Quite expressive on the nose after 3 hours in the decanter. Dark fruit, spices, pencil shavings, tobacco. On the palate at that point still rather tight. Powerful tannins, great acidity, good fruit and minerality. Slightly coarse and drying towards the finish. Persistent and vibrant finish. Should improve. 92-93+
