Friday, May 11, 2018 - The nose was hauntingly dark and alluringly sweet with crushed black cherry, sweet herbs, licorice, confections spice, and over time becoming more savory with animal and earth tones. It was remarkably silky and soft on the palate with fleshy black cherry and blackberry brought to life by exotic spices with zesty acidity. Energetic yet dark and enveloping, it finished long with saturating dark red fruits and lingering minerality. The experience from start to finish was energetic yet dark and enveloping to the senses.
